Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer with Insurance functions

Job Title: Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer with Insurance functions

Location: Remote (Local to Dallas preferred as candidate can visit the office as and when required).

Job Description :

10+ years of hands on experience developing and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL.
Strong experience with JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, IBM z/OS, and TSO/ISPF.
Experience developing and supporting batch and online mainframe applications.
Strong production support, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning experience.
Experience with Endevor or Changeman and scheduling tools such as Control M or CA7.
Experience integrating mainframe systems with modern applications using IBM MQ, APIs, or file based interfaces.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with insurance business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams.
Experience with insurance functions such as policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, rating, or premium processing
