Storekeeper Assistant

Warehouse/Maintenance Department 7 AM - 1:15 PM (30 Min Duty Free Lunch) 5.75 Hours/12 Months

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in storekeeping, delivery or related field.
• Knowledge of practices, procedures and techniques of receiving, storing, shipping and delivering supplies and equipment.
• Perform a wide variety of specialized inventory/warehouse service tasks.
• Receive, store, and assure the delivery of supplies and equipment to various sites; coordinate supply and equipment transactions, check deliveries, restock warehouse shelves.
• Communicate with personnel and outside agencies to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns related to shipping and receiving.
• Assist with maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition; assist in maintaining and laundering custodial mops and towels.
• Meet schedules and time lines. Work independently with little direction. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to operate vans, trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license. Copy of driving record required.
• Possession of a current Fork Lift Operator Certificate or intent to complete.
