Role Description The Design Assistant Men’s Casual Woven role is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. This role supports the design team in developing men’s casual woven styles from concept through production, including assisting with trend research, fabric and trim sourcing, and creating and updating tech packs. The Design Assistant will help prepare presentation boards, maintain sample and fabric libraries, and organize line sheets and design archives. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams such as merchandising, production, and graphics to ensure design accuracy, fit consistency, and on-time delivery. The role also involves reviewing samples, tracking corrections, and providing general administrative and organizational support to the design department. Responsibilities DESIGN ASSISTANT for all woven categories, Shirts, Pants, Outerwear, Swim Research and identify current market trends Shop marketplace for inspirational samples and product opportunities Initiate and maintain flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator Create, submit, and update tech packs in PLM Update Bill Of Material Manage/follow up fabrics/trims approvals for new season samples Monitor new developments & production fabrics & samples Manage/follow up new season protos & salesman samples Manage/follow up all production lab dips, strike-offs, trims Review production samples for details Send follow up comments to factories Follow up & communicate with factories throughout the production process Job Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr Flag & Anthem
