Field Service Tech - Press Brake/Shears - Richmond VA

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Tech in Richmond VA to join their dynamic team. As a Field Service Tech, you will be an essential part of the service department, supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Tech

Location: Richmond, VA (Regional travel within the area)

Pay Range: $27/hr - $40/hr 

Shift: Regular Day Shift

What's the Job?

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of press brakes and shearing equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional technical support.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• Basic technical knowledge of press brake and shear machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel and work at various customer locations as required.
