Job Title Regional Director – Wealth (Wholesaler) Location San Francisco, United States About the Role We are seeking a talented, driven individual to fill a Wealth Management, Alternatives distribution role in the West Coast region. This sales professional will generate investment/alternatives sales to financial advisors across wire houses, independent broker‑dealers, and other large wealth platforms, marketing Wellington’s public and private investment strategies to both new and existing clients across the wealth ecosystem. The successful candidate will bring broad asset management expertise, a keen understanding of the wealth distribution process, and will act as a thought partner as we build a world‑class distribution and servicing model. Responsibilities Prospect, manage territory, conduct final presentations and investment reviews. Engage in extensive travel to meet with Northern California/Pacific Northwestern financial advisors and participate in national and regional meetings. Collaborate with team, actively participate in prospecting, territory management, final presentations, and investment reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 7‑10 years of demonstrated success in external sales with financial advisors and wire houses. Proven background in asset management and alternative investments. Expertise managing a large territory, optimizing time allocation to maximize sales. Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to influence others. Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships. Series7 and63 required; proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Outlook. CFA or CAIA desirable but not required. Benefits Base salary USD120,000–225,000. Other compensation may include a discretionary corporate bonus and/or incentives if eligible.
