Tax Staff

Job Location: LA JOLLA, CA 92037 Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Responsibilities Preparation of Individual, Partnership, Corporate and Trust tax returns Preparation of federal and state quarterly estimated tax payments Assist with tax audits and tax research projects Take ownership of tasks and work with others to prioritize work assignments Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in public accounting Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Tax CPA certification obtained or in progress Excellent organization and time management skills Highly detail-oriented, organized and proactive Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service focus Strong computer skills; knowledge of ProSystem Tax and Engagement a plus Technical skills reflective of experience An ability to work within a team framework and comfortable reporting to multiple people Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability insurance 401(k) plan New business and employee referral bonuses Professional dues Continuing education Free parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
