Mechanical Estimator
Stable, family owned company with excellent benefits looking for a mechanical estimator with 3+ years experience to join their team.
Urgently hiring, looking to bring someone on board in the next month.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects
- Conduct takeoffs of materials and labor necessary for project completion
- Review project plans and specifications to determine project scope
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information
- Analyze historical data and trends to improve estimating accuracy
- Provide support during the bidding process and assist in negotiations with clients
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for reliable pricing information
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years mechanical estimating experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial piping / HVAC / plumbing background a plus
- Trimble (or similar) experience
