Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and a minimum of 1.5 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting at an acute care hospital in Worcester, MA
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, with a posted start time of 7:00 PM
• Shift start time may flex up to four hours earlier or later than posted based on urgent staffing needs only
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license currently in hand is required
• Minimum 1.5 years of ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry is required
• Level I Trauma Center experience is highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No prior disciplinary history on nursing license

Additional Information

• Two pass/fail exams are administered at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam (EKG); each exam allows only one attempt, and a failed exam will result in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided prior to orientation to help candidates prepare for both exams
• Level I Trauma Center experience, if applicable, should be clearly highlighted on your profile
