Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license eligible for Pennsylvania
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care specialty and 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Experience in ICU, step-down, or intermediate care settings strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Ability to provide safe care for med/surg, PCU, and ICU-level patients
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort with high-acuity monitoring
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced float pool environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Care for IMCU-appropriate patients with complex needs such as withdrawal syndromes, select hypertensive conditions, and closely monitored DKA cases
• Monitor patients requiring continuous drips and frequent reassessment
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe outcomes
• Maintain appropriate documentation and follow nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Direct and support nursing staff in the delivery of patient care
• Promote safe, timely transitions of care within the IMCU and step-down environment
