Overview Entry Level Automotive Technician - Homestead, FL. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for an entry level technician to gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers. Responsibilities Perform basic automotive services such as tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, oil and filter changes, and preventive maintenance. Learn from mid and senior level technicians; train to perform additional automotive services. Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles. Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations; adhere to vehicle care and safety policies. Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels. Qualifications Must have a valid driver\'s license and be at least 18 years old. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Ability to review, analyze, interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions. Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry; safety policies compliance.
