Job Summary:

The Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a short-term acute care hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse patient caseload, including telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation, ensuring safe and effective clinical practices during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate patient care based on medical plans and protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias as needed.
• Complete all required clinical modules and documentation prior to the start date.
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within scope to similar units or facilities to meet operational needs.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certifications, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina license or Compact license prior to start.
• Possess 2+ years of recent Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Be BLS, ACLS, and NIH certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Successfully complete all onboarding modules before start date.
• Provide proof of application or active status for South Carolina RN license if pending.
