Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 07/13/2026. Duration: 13–16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,885–$3,058 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 rotating. Setting: hospital with a large, academic teaching environment.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and open-heart procedures, providing perioperative nursing care throughout the operative phase.
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrumentation, and manage intraoperative equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patient status, support anesthesia, perform accurate instrument counts, and document intraoperative events in the Epic EMR.
- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and communication with the surgical team; assist with specimen handling and turnover between cases.
- May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.); if floated, circulate rather than scrub.
- Respond to intraoperative changes and emergencies, coordinating with team to maintain patient stability.

Requirements
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Prior travel experience required
- Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience with recent cardio vascular/open heart case competency
- Must be able to scrub heart cases
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- May be required to float to other OR suites; if floated, you will circulate
