Job Description:


- Exciting opportunity for an Oncology Nurse with a passion for patient care!
- Location: Medical City Dallas, 9th and 10th Floors, South Tower (A).

What We Offer:


- Shift: Night Shift, 19:00-07:00
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks
- Unit Size: 41 beds
- Team Structure:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, up to 5 RNs, 2 PCTs per floor
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, up to 5 RNs, 1 PCT per floor

Patient Care & Responsibilities:


- Patient Ratios: Estimated 4:1, maximum 5:1
- Typical Procedures Performed:
- Daily blood and electrolyte replacement
- Sterile dressing changes
- Equipment Used: Baxter pumps
- EMR System: Meditech

Skills & Qualifications:


- Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes
- Knowledge of infection prevention
- Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols


- Preferred Skills:
- General Medical Oncology knowledge
- Familiarity with ports and central lines

- Scrub Color: Royal Blue (monogrammed with hospital name)
