Laboratory Technician I - Eurofins Environment Testing - Memphis, TN

Eurofins Environment Testing seeks a Laboratory Technician I to support environmental testing operations in Memphis. The role involves sample preparation, laboratory maintenance, equipment support, and documentation using standard protocols and quality assurance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and prepare samples for analysis using various methods including aliquoting, spiking, reagent preparation, and sonication
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure proper sample labeling and tracking
• Prepare laboratory documentation including analysis results, bench sheets, and logbooks
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, wash glassware, stock supplies, and build bottle kits for clients
• Support other laboratory areas and ensure safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; two- to four-year science degree preferred
• Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience
• General knowledge of chemistry or general science
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to multitask
• Problem-solving capability and independent work ability
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Professional English proficiency: read, write, and speak fluently

Compensation: $18/hr
