Outside Parts and Service Labor Sales Rep

Job Title: Outside Parts and Service Sales Representative Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota Company: Interstate Power Systems Interstate Power Systems' Sioux Falls, South Dakota location is looking for an Outside Parts and Service Sales Representative. The role focuses on increasing Parts and Service sales with existing accounts, prospecting for new accounts, and promoting rental & equipment sales departments. Responsibilities include soliciting new business and maintaining accounts through face‑to‑face and phone contacts, developing networks and industry contacts, promoting value‑added products and services, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Provided with a company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone. Parts Sales Representative Job Duties Actively promote parts and service sales of heavy‑duty equipment lines in the assigned territory, promote rental department sales & capabilities, and drive equipment sales growth. Identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share and sales of parts and service. Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support. Act as a liaison between the customer and company to ensure that customer needs are adequately met. Desired Skills and Qualities Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. A self‑starter who can identify strengths in a location and develop a positive business plan. Proven background in sales. Clear driving record. Available for overnight travel. Requirements High school degree or equivalent. 3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales. Experience in distribution, industrial and/or heavy equipment a plus.
