Experienced Automotive Mechanic/TechnicianSullivan Motor Company Inc. is looking for experienced automotive technicians! We have over 600 vehicles in-stock and we have a full customer-pay service department, so there is always work! Family owned and operated for over 10 years in the AZ Valley!Qualified applicants must possess technical skills along with the desire to pursue a rewarding career in the automotive industry.Job responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairPerform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsExamine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is neededAdvise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work return repair order to service advisor.Road test customer vehiclesEnsure that customers' cars are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort, convenience systems or audio system settings. Notifies service advisor and/or service manager immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.Attend factory-sponsored training classesKeep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all timesAdhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standardsJob requirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent3 years' experience minimumValid driver's license and clean driving recordBe able to stand for long periods of timeMust have your own toolsAbility to work in heatTeam oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceDiesel is a plus!Our commitment to youOur team members enjoy terrific benefits which include:Excellent compensation: salary = guaranteed money!Paid vacation & sick timeMedical, dental, vision benefitsSchedule | Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5pm & Saturday: 8am-1pm (only 1 Saturday a month)Job type: full-time
