Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Prior experience within school settings or pediatrics is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IEP development, goal writing, and educational accommodations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other therapists to support student learning and developmental progress
• Assess, develop, and document individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care activities
• Monitor progress toward OT goals and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ educational plans
• Offer consultation and education to school staff and families on supporting students’ functional independence
