Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Kennewick, WA. This role involves working closely with experienced attorneys on personal injury litigation, from case evaluation through resolution. Duties Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal opinions. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings and correspondence. Assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and client meetings. Support estate planning by drafting wills and related documents. Provide guidance on environmental law compliance. Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel. Maintain comprehensive records of case developments. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s). Experience or familiarity with multiple legal practice areas. Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred. Proficiency with legal research platforms. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Experience with legal drafting and administrative tasks. Demonstrated negotiation skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree Certifications Washington Bar License Skills Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw. Strong analytical and writing skills.
