Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Anticipated Start Date: December 13, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: Three shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Schedule: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend, with the potential for every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Holiday shifts may be scheduled based on staffing needs
• Call: No on-call or callback requirement
• Unit: Long-term care and skilled nursing unit with locked and unlocked resident areas
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6–7 for higher-acuity assignments and 1:12 for long-term care and skilled nursing
• Charting: Electronic documentation experience is helpful; MatrixCare experience is not required

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 2 years of recent experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Associate degree or nursing certificate preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and nursing documentation skills
• CPI certification is helpful but not required
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned
• Professional scrubs without advertisements and adherence to workplace appearance and safety standards

Long-Term Care RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents during night shifts
• Complete nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor residents for changes in condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Accurately document clinical findings, interventions, and resident responses in the electronic medical record
• Communicate changes in resident status to providers, nursing leadership, residents, and families as appropriate
• Collaborate with nursing assistants and other care team members to promote safe, high-quality resident care
• Float to the admissions unit when needed and assist with admissions-related assessments and documentation
• Respond to urgent clinical needs and escalate concerns appropriately, with nursing leadership available for support
• Promote a respectful, safe, and compassionate environment for residents, families, and colleagues
