Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Step Down (Part Time Days) Location: 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ 07112-2027 • Facility: Newark Beth Israel Medical Center • Department: Nursing B6 Step Down Req #: 0000246779 • Status: Part-Time • Shift: Day • Pay Range: $49.28 - $66.05 per hour Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. Implement hospital policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities; organize and administer age-specific, professional nursing care on the assigned unit. Assess patients and determine age-specific treatment modalities in alignment with growth and development principles. Qualifications Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement BLS certification through American Heart Association Graduate from an NLN-accredited School of Nursing Scheduling Requirements Day Shift – 7:00a to 7:30p Part Time, 25 hours per week Every other weekend required; schedule during the week varies by department needs Pay Transparency The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
