Senior Accountant

Harmer has partnered with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. Opportunity Highlights Hybrid work schedule High exposure to senior leadership Mix of technical accounting and operational finance responsibilities Opportunity to influence processes and drive improvements What You'll Be Doing Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies Perform variance analysis and communicate key business drivers to management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Review balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation Support external audits and coordinate requests from auditors Participate in process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancements Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and opportunities Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams on accounting and reporting matters Support special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Approximately 3‑7 years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and industry experience Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience strongly preferred Actively pursuing CPA certification or CPA license preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
