Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week night-shift travel contract in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who thrives in fast-paced clinical environments and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work 36 hours per week, providing essential support to patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring of patient conditions.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska or compact state eligibility.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience (long-term care, rehab, acute care, or similar settings preferred).

• Ability to work night shifts consistently and manage a 36-hour weekly schedule.

• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
