In this role, you’ll enjoy set hours (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday) and the chance to form connections with a caseload of approximately 20-25 high school students.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Special Education (IN SPED) license required
• Experience in high school special education or resource room preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and differentiation strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and student advocacy skills
• Comfort working independently within a high school setting
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accommodating learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with a range of learning needs
• Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs in close collaboration with colleagues and families
• Track, assess, and report on student progress and achievement
• Employ evidence-based interventions to address academic and behavioral challenges
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district requirements
