Schedule

Shift: Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Available for 36 and 48 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit, specializing in complex care. This role requires flexibility and the ability to float to other units as needed. You will work within a team-oriented environment to provide high-quality patient care and may be required to take on charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, document findings, and update care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in charge nurse duties as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing is required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active RN license in New York State.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
