Warehouse Manager

This is not a “sit behind a desk” role - you will be on the floor, setting up processes, building the team, and creating a high-performance warehouse from scratch. What You'll Do (Startup Enviornment) Lead initial warehouse setup (layout, workflows, processes) Build receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations Hire, train, and develop warehouse team Establish KPIs and productivity standards Implement SOPs and improve continuously Set up ERP/WMH systems Ensure compliance with California labor laws and Cal/OSHA (IIPP) Create a strong safety-first culture Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams What We're Looking for 3-7+ years warehouse management experience Startup or build-out experience preferred Ability to build processes and teams from scratch Hands-on leadership style Inventory control and fulfillment expertise ERP/WMS experience Knowledge of shipping/logistics operations Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA safety compliance Strong problem-solving and leadership skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50lbs Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States Equal Opportunity Employer Portmantos is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
