Biochemistry Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist

About The Role We're looking for PhD-level biochemists to help train and refine some of the world's most advanced AI models. Your deep scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons about complex biological systems — from protein folding to metabolic pathways — making a real impact on the future of AI in life sciences. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work as much or as little as you want, week to week. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced biochemistry questions and scenarios spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI reasoning. Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning in AI systems. Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and quantitative analyses for scientific accuracy and adherence to established standards. Identify and Correct Reasoning Errors — Spot logical failures such as incorrect stoichiometry, misapplied stereochemistry, or flawed mechanistic reasoning, and provide structured feedback to improve AI performance. Work Independently and Asynchronously — Complete tasks on your own schedule with no meetings required.
