The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical assessment skills and have experience managing patients with acute or chronic diseases, post-op surgeries, and common medical-surgical co-morbidities. Assignment Details Start Date: Not provided Shift Details: 5x8 Days Unit: MedSurg/Tele with 35 beds Census: 35 Patient Ratios: RN 1:4-6, LPN 1:4-6, CNA 2-3 per shift Floating: All adult med surg/telemetry units in house Charting System: EPIC Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2250 (negotiable) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute/chronic diseases and post-op surgical patients Manage complex care for patients with diabetes, hypertension, infections, CHF, and electrolyte imbalances Execute cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Implement wound care and manage post-operative monitoring Conduct trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts Support care coordination with interdisciplinary teams Participate in discharge planning and patient education management Qualifications Required: 2 years Med/Tele RN experience BLS (Basic Life Support) BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) - must pass EKG competency exam Skills in trach care, chest tube management, IV insertion and care, central line management Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Medical-Surgical certification Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 65212634.
