Bachelor’s Degree Required . Summary The Rental Management Trainee is designed to be completed in 18‑24 months and provides general Rental Management training in addition to specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management, meeting the business unit’s fast‑paced schedule. Essential Functions Handle sales and processing for inbound calls and outbound solicitation. Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database. Generate rental, lease, and used‑vehicle sales leads. Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards. Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives. Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies. Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base. Additional Responsibilities On a voluntary basis and based on scheduling, perform the role of On‑Call Representative as determined by the Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. High energy, self‑motivated, and able to focus on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization. Work independently and as part of a team. Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices. Quick learner with high common sense. Ability to relocate in the region/US after the training program. Computer literate (intermediate level). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. One (1) year or more of customer‑service or issue‑resolution experience preferred. Computer literate (intermediate level). Travel None DOT Regulated No Compensation Position may be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and/or type. Base salary range: $52,000.
