In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing court cases, supporting courtroom operations, and assisting the public, legal professionals, and partner agencies. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the District Court. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing court cases, supporting courtroom operations, and assisting the public, legal professionals, and partner agencies. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the District Court. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, docket, and process court cases
- Issue legal documents and follow established court procedures
- Schedule hearings and maintain the court calendar
- Process payments and prepare court dockets
- Provide support and information to judges, attorneys, self-represented litigants, law enforcement, and the general public via phone, email, and in person
- Facilitate courtroom proceedings in person and virtually
- Operate courtroom recording and virtual conferencing technology
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Make decisions based on applicable laws, rules, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clerical experience (legal or court-related experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with virtual platforms such as Zoom
- Ability to manage phone calls and in-person interactions
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
