About Ace Retail Group Ace Retail Group (ARG) is a division of Ace Hardware Corporation that operates several Ace brands throughout the United States. General Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the overall integrity and maintenance of a store's inventory. The position requires an average of 20‑30 hours per work week (varies by store location) dedicated to sustaining inventory integrity to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. The coordinator consistently provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers while supporting store operations and collaborating with teammates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure purchase orders are properly received from Ace and non‑Ace vendors. Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received. Work with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment upon arrival at the store. Research and resolve all outbound issues by scanning the location using a mobile device, determining cause, and following processes to correct errors. Utilize Mango reports and programs along with daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Follow defective merchandise procedures to ensure credits are received. Maintain on hand integrity throughout the store by reviewing inventory discrepancies to determine the cause of the discrepancy and adjusting counts as needed. Oversee price change completion, integrity of location codes, inventory level management, and adjustments. Coordinate store preparation for periodic full store physical inventories. Participate in all Inventory Coordinator training and consistently train and share knowledge with other store associates. Work with various Store Support Center departments to ensure proper inventory controls are in place. Partner with management to report and find solutions for inventory concerns. Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications Must be able to work independently and on a team to complete multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment. Must be a self‑starter with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to research and find the root cause of inventory discrepancies. Retail store experience preferred.
