Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Shipping & Receiving Associate We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team! This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. If you have experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or forklift operation, this is a great opportunity to grow your career. Key Responsibilities Manage the shipping and receiving of products, materials, and supplies Load and unload trucks and deliveries in a safe and timely manner Scan, track, and update shipments using RF scanners and inventory systems Sort, stock, and organize incoming inventory Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment Maintain accurate inventory counts and daily logs Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe (5S standards) Provide support across shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 6+ months of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or retail experience preferred Experience with RF scanners or inventory systems is a plus Forklift experience preferred (certification required within 90 days) Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Skills & Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities Stable, full-time work environment On-the-job training and advancement opportunities What We’re Looking For Dependable with strong attendance Positive attitude and team player Detail-oriented and safety-focused Motivated and willing to learn EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
