Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Veterinary Referral Associates PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Referral Associates is hiring a Care Coordinator – Reception to support hospital operations and deliver superior client service. Position Overview This role provides broad administrative and customer service support to the hospital, including patient intake, appointment scheduling, billing, and front‑desk management. The position aligns closely with Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist roles. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments. Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products. Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records. Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Maintain client service, answer telephones, manage appointments, and uphold electronic medical records. Qualifications (Required) Experience working in a veterinary hospital. At least 2 years of customer service experience in veterinary, restaurant, retail, or service business. High school diploma or equivalent. Sound decision‑making skills and ability to multitask in a stressful environment. Excellent communication and client service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to take direction and handle money accurately and honestly. Well‑groomed, organized, friendly, outgoing, and people‑oriented. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with Cornerstone software. Schedule Full Time, Swing Shifts: Sunday 10:00 am‑10:00 pm and Monday‑Wednesday 4:00 pm‑10:00 pm. Must be willing to take all shifts. Pay Range

$18 — $25 USD
