Job Title: Green Chain Puller Pay: $25.21/hour Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00AM - 4:00PM, Friday 4:00AM - 3:30PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a lifestyle/career benefit? As a Green Chain Puller, you'll be vital in the hands-on processing of high-quality Doug Fir dimensional lumber. Your role will help ensure that lumber is processed efficiently, organized, and safely handled. You'll work closely with your team to maintain a clean and productive environment that supports sustainable and quality craftsmanship. What You'll Do As a Green Chain Puller, you will be responsible for: Pulling lumber off the conveyor belt efficiently and carefully Sorting lumber and clearing the chain to ensure smooth flow Ensuring all lumber is assigned to the correct load based on size, length, and grade Stacking units to the proper height and width for safe handling Making sure stickers are properly placed for proper drying Ensuring re-saw and trim stacks into stable, quality units What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and with ease Strong physical stamina and body conditioning Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Punctuality and good attendance Fundamental understanding of saw milling processes Team-oriented attitude and a supportive work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work off-shift as needed Why Join Us in Eugene?
