Bonus Amount 10000 Overview Department: Intensive Care Unit Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Nights Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00 pm to 7:00am Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX We are seeking a n ICU Registered Nurse , also referred to as an ICU RN , Intensive Care Nurse or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decision s , and will be compassionate to all patient s . An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly. You must have: Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
