Junior Loan Officer — AHL All Star Training Program American Heritage Lending | Irvine, CA Full-Time | Entry-Level Mortgage Sales | Training Provided About the AHL All Star Program The AHL All Star Program — Academy for Lending Leadership, Sales, Technique, Advancement & Results — is an eight-week training program designed to develop aspiring Loan Officers into knowledgeable and confident investment property financing specialists. No mortgage experience required We provide structured training in mortgage products, sales, systems, deal structuring, and licensing preparation, along with hands-on coaching and mock-call practice. Our goal is to take you from trainee to panel-certified Junior Loan Officer with a clear path toward becoming a producing Loan Officer. Why Investment Property Lending? What You’ll Learn During the eight-week All Star Program, you’ll receive training in: Investment property lending and product guidelines Deal analysis and loan structuring CRM and loan origination systems Prospecting and lead management Discovery and borrower qualification Objection handling and sales techniques Pipeline management and follow-up Mock calls and real-world loan scenarios The program concludes with a final panel certification evaluated by AHL managers and experienced Loan Officers. What You’ll Do as a Junior Loan Officer After completing the program, you’ll be responsible for: Prospecting and developing a sales pipeline Responding to inbound leads and referral opportunities Building relationships with investors and real estate professionals Conducting borrower discovery calls Identifying appropriate AHL financing solutions Presenting loan options and overcoming objections Managing follow-up and CRM activity Working with internal teams to move loans toward closing Developing repeat and referral business Meeting established activity and production goals Who We're Looking For We’re looking for driven, competitive, coachable, and motivated individuals who want to build a career in mortgage sales. Ideal candidates have: 1-3 years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills A competitive, results-oriented mindset Strong work ethic and persistence Ability to learn complex financial products Excellent organization and time management Comfort using technology and CRM systems A strong desire to become a successful Loan Officer Mortgage experience is not required We value sales ability, coachability, work ethic, and the desire to succeed. An active NMLS license is preferred, with licensing requirements and support discussed during the hiring process.
