TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in San Francisco, California, 94110!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an inpatient PACU RN and/or in an outpatient surgical setting. License: Current State RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Minimum 3 years of critical care experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in an Client (ASC) setting Description: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. This role involves working with both adult and pediatric patients. Candidate must be able to work in pre-operative, PACU, and post-operative areas. Candidates should have the ability to work variable shifts. No on-call or weekend shifts required. Candidates may be required to stay late if patients do not meet discharge criteria. Flexibility is necessary for potential 23-hour stay patients, who may be booked with short notice. Candidates must have experience in patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and interpretation and communication of lab values. Experience with various surgical procedures and patient management strategies is essential.
