Discover a rewarding contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in an elementary school setting near Palo Alto, CA. This position offers the chance to support young learners in a collaborative environment, employing a 3:1 week service delivery model and working closely with school staff.
What You Need to Bring:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- California state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged students, preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Implement and document individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Participate in student support meetings and collaborate with teachers and other service providers
- Use a 3:1 week model for direct therapy and consultative collaboration
- Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students
Role Details:
- Contract position with a start date as soon as possible for a 90-day duration
- Flexible schedule: 8 hours per week, one to five days per week
- Caseload of approximately 55 elementary-aged students
