Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Operating Room setting License: Current Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Trauma Level I experience required - Pediatric OR experience Description: Main Operating Room is seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience. Proficiency in working within the operating room is essential. The level of acuity is high. Short call is required up to three times every six weeks. Up to four off shifts may be scheduled every six weeks. One weekend shift and one weekend call are required every six weeks. Holiday shift and call coverage is needed as required by the unit. Experience with cleft lip/cleft palate repair within pediatric general OR is preferred. The unit serves infants, children, and adolescents. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Candidates must be able to handle a high level of acuity and complex patient diagnoses.
