Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: December 6, 2026
End Date: March 5, 2027
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week

We are hiring experienced PCU RNs for a travel assignment in Casa Grande, Arizona .

This assignment is suited for an RN with strong Progressive Care Unit experience who is comfortable caring for patients requiring close monitoring and a higher level of nursing care than a standard medical-surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit environment.

• Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.

• Closely monitor patients requiring increased observation and intervention.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.

• Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate concerns to the appropriate care team.

• Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, oxygenation, and other relevant clinical parameters.

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, ancillary departments, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and discharge needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.

• Prioritize and manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced PCU environment.

Requirements

• Active RN license eligible to work in Arizona.

• Recent PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience required.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to care for patients requiring continuous monitoring and increased acuity.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be flexible with varied weekends and holidays .

• Must be flexible with varied shifts , as scheduling may vary based on facility needs.

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred for this travel assignment.

• Must be available for the full contract period.

IMPORTANT TRAVELER REQUIREMENT

Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment.

Candidates must have a permanent residence outside the state of Arizona and must meet the applicable travel-distance requirement for the assignment.
