The Corpus Christi, TX location serves a diverse customer base and provides opportunities for skills development and career growth in automotive services.Role Description This full-time Tire Technician role is an on-site position based at the Bigotires location in Corpus Christi, TX. The Tire Technician is responsible for mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires for a variety of vehicles, following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Daily tasks include inspecting tires and wheels, assisting with basic maintenance such as checking batteries and fluid levels, and performing equipment maintenance to keep tools and machinery in safe working order. The role also involves interacting with customers, explaining recommended services, and supporting customer satisfaction by delivering timely, accurate work. The Tire Technician collaborates with the service team, maintains a clean and organized work area, and follows all company policies and safety standards.QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on clear communication, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.Hands-on experience or aptitude in maintenance and repair tasks related to tires and basic vehicle services.Ability to perform equipment maintenance, including safe operation and routine checks of shop tools and machinery.Familiarity with batteries and basic automotive systems, or willingness to learn through on-the-job training.Commitment to safety procedures, attention to detail, and consistent, high-quality workmanship.Ability to lift and move heavy tires and equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment.Reliable attendance, time management skills, and ability to follow instructions and service guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior tire or automotive service experience is an advantage but not required.
