JOB DETAILS Base Pay: $26 per hour - $42.00 per hour based on experience 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 10 PM to 6 AM with overtime as needed Benefits start day 1 Weekly Pay DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This Maintenance Associate is responsible for the execution of all maintenance and assigned projects at the facility. Performs scheduled PM's and emergency maintenance repairs on all manufacturing equipment. Install and manage the upkeep of various pipe equipment and systems, responsible for repairing plumbing, and the duties range from fabricating piping and materials to assembling systems and ensuring they're running effectively.Associate will be working on industrial plumbing systems, heating and cooling piping, threading pipe, running pipe, working with steam heat system, troubleshoots, and repairing some electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.Associate can plan, maintain tooling, and fabricate replacement parts utilizing all fabrication and machining equipment. Performs basic to complex grounds/facilities repairs and ensures accuracy of records and safety in all operations.Provide proper, timely service to maintenance customers (production, warehouse, paint line, etc.)Be easy to get in touch with, agreeable to ideas and accommodating. React with a sense of urgencyProvide technical assistance to maintenance customersPerform approved maintenance work, specific jobs, preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders as appropriateEnsure corrective work orders are written from PM work activitiesMeet work specifications and quality standards for each assignmentEnsure job completion and qualityPerform clean as you goEnsure housekeeping is better when you finished than when you startedBegin work at the start of shift and ensure the necessary means to pass on all pertinent information to the next shiftMaintain all detailed logs and notes to ensure 100% accuracy of dataEnsure orderly shift changeover and complete briefs are performedPerform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and document the resultsRecord and report all daily time distributionFollow daily work schedulesEnsure orderly conduct with respect to company policy regardingIdentify needed parts to repair equipment and facilityComplete required paperwork to order new parts and to track existing partsCoordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnelSeek ways to conserve resources and improve costs and efficiencyQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience requiredMust have working knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical, PLC's, Programing and Mechanical Equipment, Machine Break DownMust be able to distinguish colors and have correctable eyesight and correctable hearingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist and lift 51 to 100 lbs with assistanceMust have above average oral and written communication skills and must have the ability to work well with othersMust be able to handle multiple demands and pressure situations while working in a fast paced production environmentPosition requires walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, bending, twistingWork involves high voltage equipment and rapidly moving machinery; constant attention to safe practices is requiredWork in manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dustRequired personal protective equipment, mechanical and electrical tools and or fabrication/machining equipment required to complete assigned taskSafe work performance is required from each Associate at all timesProper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each associate's performance appraisalAdditional InformationOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
