Assembly Line Worker – Job Description

Join a dynamic production team assembling small to mid‑size snow blowers and lawnmowers in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands‑on or mechanical experience who enjoy meeting deadlines and working with tools. A three‑day orientation is provided, with most training occurring on the job.

Pay Rates (Highlighted)

• 1st Shift: $20/hr
• 2nd Shift: $24/hr
• These are highly competitive rates for entry‑level and experienced assemblers.

Responsibilities

• Gather and inspect parts such as frames, gearboxes, handles, augers, wheels, and engine mounts
• Use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment to assemble components including auger housings, deck assemblies, and control systems
• Verify alignment, torque specifications, and fit to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Follow standard work instructions and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies
• Wear PPE and follow all safety protocols during assembly and equipment operation
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and assembly line work is preferred
• Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hours
• Manual dexterity for positioning parts and performing repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently
• Experience in mechanical assembly

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior assembly or blueprint experience preferred
• Experience in shop classes, woodworking, or personal mechanical/assembly projects
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment without becoming overwhelmed

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
