Contact Information Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io Description Integrates tower products such as multi‑section telescoping towers, trailers, shelters, control cabinets, generators, and other accessories, completely by working on benches or floors and performing the following duties. Responsibilities Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce a close fit between parts. Operates hand drills, drill presses, hand grinders, band saw, and air tools to assist in assembly operation. Installs parts such as mounts, brackets, control cables, motors, electrical components, and accessory items and works them to assure free movement. Conducts or assists in conducting final acceptance tests of the complete product. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Must be able to speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to read and use a tape measure. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
