The Role, Explained

As a Pharmacy Technician-LTC, you’ll help keep our long-term care prescription workflow accurate, organized, and moving—so patients get the right meds at the right time. You’ll support the pharmacist team by processing and preparing orders, updating profiles in pharmacy software, and keeping inventory tidy and on track.

Required skills/qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician License
- Sharp attention to detail and basic computer proficiency
- Strong verbal/written communication and a customer-service mindset
- Comfort working in a fast-paced onsite setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management

Pay: $15.00–$19.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday 9AM–6PM; Saturday 9AM–12PM.

You’ll clock in onsite in Jackson, get settled at your workstation, and jump into a steady rhythm of screens, labels, and double-checks. The morning often starts with prioritizing what needs to go out first, then you’ll spend the day bouncing between the computer and the work area—staying focused while the pace stays lively. You’ll coordinate with teammates as questions pop up, keep your workspace organized, and finish up by making sure everything is squared away for the next run. Expect a weekday-heavy schedule with a short Saturday shift to wrap up the week.
