Medical Records Clerk | $18.00- $20.00per hour | Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM |  Hybrid |  Temporary

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch), Hybrid schedule of 3 days on-site.

Job Description:
A healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to support department needs by gathering medical records, managing medical records requests, and following up on medical records. 

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve medical records from multiple EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.).
• Draft and send medical record request correspondence.
• Conduct follow-ups with provider offices via phone, email, and online portals.
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Organize, prepare, and upload records to vendors in required formats.
• Maintain tracking logs and ensure all requests are completed on time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• One (1) year of Healthcare plan operations/Risk Adjustment/Medical Records experience is required. 
• A High School Diploma is required. 
• Must have own personal computer and monitor equipment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $18.00-$20.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. The range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role, and hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
