Full Stack Developer

Salary: $80,000 - 133,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for at least 4 years of relevant full-stack application development experience.
• We require a bachelors degree, or 8 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• We need at least 3 years of experience building and modernizing cloud applications and datasets on AWS.
• We expect experience creating frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript is required.
• Django experience is preferred; equivalent experience with Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy may also be considered.
• Vue.js experience is preferred; equivalent experience with React, Svelte, or Angular 1.6+ may also be considered.
• We are seeking someone who can work independently while also mentoring, guiding, and supporting teammates through complex technical issues.
• We value proven experience developing software products and solution prototypes that validate technical approaches and explain design trade-offs.
• We expect a strong understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices, with experience planning and delivering software products using an agile mindset.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust, with approved adjudication completed before onboarding; active Public Trust or Suitability is preferred.
• AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect credentials are a plus.
• Experience with Flask, Docker, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Elasticsearch, caching tools, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AWS SAM, MVC design patterns, and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles is advantageous.
• Experience delivering cloud software through modern CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with development, operations, and security teams is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to understand customer needs and engineer effective solutions, are highly valued.

• We play a key role on the modernization team by helping solve technical challenges, delivering demonstrations, and building innovative prototypes using cloud architectures and modern software technologies.
• We provide hands-on full-stack engineering for scalable, secure, distributed systems using modern programming languages, cloud-native and microservices architectures, containerization, and API-first design approaches.
• We work with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design, build, test, and deploy high-value, resilient software products on AWS that satisfy functional and non-functional needs.
