This position will work closely with units and departments to provide support on HR issues. Duties may include:Provide support on HR matters including recruitment and hiringRefer and direct requests and questions to the appropriate HR functional areaInterpret and apply University procedures, policies and business processesCoordinate within designated area of subject matter expertisePlan and carry out work independently and timelyPartner with HR to create cross functional teams in order to create solutions for units and departmentsAssist with routing HR forms and updating employee recordsOther duties as assignedRequired Experience - One year of human resources or recruiting experience Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issuesRequired Education - High School Diploma or equivalentAdditional Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or closely related field Knowledge of higher education or state government personnel policies and procedures Human Resource experience in a higher education setting Customer service, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience working collegially and collaboratively with internal and external constituencies Experience with applicant tracking systems Understanding of job analysis methods and/or job classification conceptsFLSA Status - Non-Exempt Employee Category - Classified Pay Range - Commensurate with experience Type of Appointment - Fiscal Year FTE - 1 Full Time/Part Time - Full TimeA visa sponsorship is available for the position listed in this vacancy. - No Posting Date - 09/09/2026 Closing Date Open Until Filled - Yes Special Instructions to Applicants - This position is open until filled with first consideration date of September 24, 2026.
