Registered Nurse Acute Care - BSN / ASN
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Floor team at a respected hospital located south of Lafayette, LA. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with diverse conditions. Pay: $61,331 - $82,338 Schedule: Days or Nights
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including patient history and physical exams, to determine healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored to each patient's medical condition, treatment goals, and ensure accurate medication administration.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to create and execute effective care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and advocate for patient well-being at all stages of treatment.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN/ASN) required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Acute Care experience is preferred
