Space Planner/Kitchen Designer

Space Planner For Restaurant Projects
A global brand, headquartered in Chicago, is looking for a Space Planner who will specialize in restaurant projects.
Responsibilities:
- Will participate in remodels as well as new construction restaurant projects
- Will analyze both customer and employee traffic flow in order to increase efficiency of space utilization and improve design
- Participate in equipment placement and rearrangement
- Will redline and update floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Review shop drawings and communicate with vendors/suppliers
- Adhere to ADA guidelines for restaurant design
- Will work on architectural detailing and space planning
- Will be placing kitchen, plumbing, utility equipment, and order stations throughout the restaurant
Desired Skills:
- Prior space planning experience
- Any commercial, retail or restaurant project experience is a bonus
- Kitchen design experience is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, any Bluebeam experience is a plus
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
