Our location in Morgantown, WV currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Specialist . This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings. 

TERRITORY 

• The ideal candidate will be based out of   Morgantown, WV

• This territory includes   Morgantown/Charleston, West Virginia, southwest PA and western MD

• Up to 50% travel - company car provided.

• This position does not offer relocation.   Local candidates only, please. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office settings for Similac and PediaSure. 

• Hospital negotiations and contracting. 

• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment. 

• New product launches. 

• An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU,   Pediatrics, Pharmacies,   Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively   with Dietitians,   Physicians and Nurses. 

• Effective administrative skills. 

• Budget management. 

• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy. 

• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING 

• Bachelor's degree required. 

• The ideal candidate will be individuals with 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).

• Will also consider candidates with only one of those backgrounds listed above. Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics a plus.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.]]><
